Erratum

A. Bellis & D. Canil, 2007. Ferric iron in CaTiO3 perovskite as an oxygen barometer for kimberlitic magmas; 1, experimental calibration. Journal of Petrology 48, 219–230.

It has been brought to the authors’ attention (A. Le Roex, personal communication, 2008) that there is a misprint in the equation for the Fe-in-perovskite oxygen barometer in the above article. The correct equation is


Formula

(uncertainties at 2{sigma}, and Nb and Fe as cations per three oxygens). It should be noted that the signs are wrong in the published version of this equation on pages 219 and 228 of the article.
